Disaffiliated
A downloadable Role Playing Game
During the Cold War there existed a clandestine agency that identified and hunted down the paranormal threats that endangered mankind. Funding dried up with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the program was mothballed.
Now, in the mid '90s, the Agency is barely a shadow of what it once was. Unfunded, unsupported, and nearly unstaffed. But operating from within that shadow is a team of otherwise normal civilians, amateur investigators and part time heroes, on call to respond when the paranormal strikes.
DISAFFILIATED players take on the role of these Agents. Throughout a campaign they'll face off against a medley of antagonists and unpredictable dangers, build up a repertoire of enhanced equipment and abilities powered by assets stolen from occult and supernatural sources, and save the world from a cataclysmic onslaught.
Inspirations for DISAFFILIATED include the original X-Com, Dungeon World, The X-Files, Supernatural, and Kolchak : The Night Stalker. Expect an investigation-heavy game of high stakes, low PC fatality, and desperate compromises.
Cross-compatible with FIST, the TTRPG of Cold War paranormal mercenary action!
Version 0.8.0

This reminds me of that lost Creepypasta about the soviets killing God! It is sick!
I'm not familiar with the creepypasta, but the USSR sure tried to kill off the idea of God. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_abuse_of_psychiatry_in_the_Soviet_Unio... )
Glad you enjoyed the read! If you try it out at the table, let me know how it goes.
