C-RATS#03:Twins In Arms
A downloadable pamphlet
The third entry of C-RATS (Conflicts : Regions, Antagonists, and Tactics, Summarized) which is my blatant rip-off of the excellent RATIONS entries created by Claymore and company, for use with the PbtA game of paranormal mercenaries and tactical action, FIST.
FIST gets a call on their emergency comms network from... FIST.
TWINS IN ARMS provides rules for use when only a partial player group shows up to a session. It details the creation of alternate-reality versions of FIST and makes allowances for troupe style play. Jump through a dark timeline, changing the past to save the present from tyrannical rule by unkillable abominations.
(Looking to face FIST off against Alt-Reality versions of themselves? You *could* use this, but you'd be better off checking out ululu's excellent "Red Mirror" instead)

Alternate reality or history mission when some of the players of the group cannot attend. That is a great idea.
One or two players not being able to make it to a session is a perennial problem - I hope this helps Referees when it comes up!
Greetings, FIST Actual. This is FIST Actual. Confused? I would be, so I know you are. Nothing to be confused about with this pamphlet! A stylish double sheet helps me out for when my players suddenly need to play overtime, forgot they had a session and doublebooked, or worse! I love the concept of making an alt-universe copy of my player’s character and using them for a one off mission like the one provided or the follow up operations! I’m a big fan!
